WHAT DO WE DO?

 

 

Loving your neighbour is a direct command of Jesus. What better place is there for caring than the loving community of the Church.

CARING COMES WITH A FRIENDLY FACE AND A LISTENING EAR

 

 

 

We visit members who are housebound, in a nursing home or who have been bereaved.

CARING COMES WITH WHEELS

 

 

If you find it difficult to travel by public transport, we can arrange transport to hospital, to help you keep an appointment, or visit a family member.

CARING COMES WITH A CARD

 

 

We send cards and when appropriate flowers, on behalf of the Church family to members celebrating special occasions.

 

 

A selection of Christian Greetings Cards is available for sale at the Caring Group table in the vestibule and also in the John Callaghan Hall on Sundays, and in the Coffee Room during the week.

 

All cards are priced on the back and the selection includes Thinking of You, Get Well, Sympathy and a few blank ones for your own message. We will have Easter cards available in March, and will be happy to increase the range if there is a demand for this service. 

 

Please use the Honesty Box to pay for your cards if there is no member of the Caring Group around.
