Welcome to our Advent and Christmas news. We hope you have a very blessed season. You are very welcome to join us at any of our services and events throughout December. Lots of opportunities to sing carols, hear the stories around the birth of Jesus, and look forward to 2025 with God. Whether you are a regular or just want to give us a go, you can check us out any time in person or on Youtube at Moncreiff Parish Church (most services are live streamed).
A Light Flickers in the Darkness – Memorial Service. A short service of hope and light as we remember loved ones. Saturday 30th November at 3:30pm.
CAP Ceilidh- Fundraiser. Friday 6th December at 7:30pm.
Come whirl the night away at Moncreiff and support Christians Against Poverty. £10 per adult, £25 per family (2 adults and children). It is a finger buffet and BYOB. Relaxed, friendly and fun. Jiggered Ceilidh Band will certainly keep you on your feet or clapping along. All welcome.
ADVENT AND BEYOND. Eleanor Hamilton and I have written an Advent and Beyond reflection book. Copies available at Church or download it from our website. We hope it gives you opportunities each day to pause, pray and ponder. It includes art from Sheena with spaces for creativity and doodles. Click here to download a copy.
Moncreiff Guild has had a highly successful start to our new Session. We have celebrated Communion with Rev Sarah and enjoyed some other excellent speakers. Ice cream tasting was a real treat and we have Carols and Mince Pies, Christmas lunch and Pantomime to look forward to. Our Guild wishes everyone a Very Happy and Blessed Christmas.
