This year the Rainbows were honoured by a visit from the Chief Guide, Gill Slocombe, and the Scottish Chief Commissioner, Sue Walker. The visit allowed our Chief Guide to see a
Rainbow
Guide unit in action as she is aiming to open her own unit. The evening was a great success and enjoyed by all.
The Rainbows have already been very busy working towards the Big Brownie Birthday badge and the Commonwealth Games badge. They have had evenings that had them compare
Fairtrade chocolate, bananas and hot chocolate, enjoy team building activities, learning about basic first aid and will be having a visit from a Fireman who will discuss Emergency
Services with them.
They will be meeting with the Cub Scouts for a games night and shall finish their term with a Commonwealth Games themed party. While twelve girls moved up to Brownies and the places were
quickly filled, there are still places available.
If you have a girl aged 5 - 7 years old and you'd like her to come along and join in then you will find us on Thursday evening at Moncreiff Parish Church.
